July 7th, 2007~ Paradise Gardens
Written By:Heather

By the time the big lucky 7-7-07 day rolled around, it seemed like we have known Jackie & Jim forever! These two booked with Shadowcatcher over a year ago, and we are both so happy they did! It has been great getting to know them during their engagement session last summer and through all of the planning we did together leading up to their wedding day.

Even though Jackie had shown me pictures of her dress online, I wasn't really prepared for how stunning it was! Beautiful! The bead work on this gown was so elegant. And the color, I think Jackie said it was Pearl, was perfect for her!

I always love the contrast between how the girls get ready and how the guys get ready ;-)

As always... Skip & I split up at the beginning of the day, Erin & I were with Jackie, her bridesmaids and family and Skip took care of Jim and all of his guys and parents. This seems to work really well, and saves a whole lot of time on pictures after the ceremony when everyone is just dying to get into the reception.

Jackie's flowers were stunning! Her bouquet was filled with beautiful pink roses, lillies and orchids which also covered the arches and tables.

This was our first wedding at Paradise Gardens and I think we may have found a new favorite spot. The grounds are beautiful with lakes, ponds and waterfalls. And it is so nice and private!

Ok... yes, we do tend to put bridal party's to work.. but it's so much fun!

This was something different. For the toasts all of the guests were served special Peach Bellini's. They sure looked amazing!

Another really great part of the day was we got to spend some time with Trisha and Keith whose wedding we will be doing in 2008. Trisha, one of Jackie's bridesmaids, actually found us first and then referred us to Jackie, whose wedding came first. Don't these two make an awesome couple?

What a great cake topper!

We had a wonderful time with Jackie and Jim and both their families, the day moved along sooo fast, and we are really kind of sad this one is over!
