Wow! It's so hard to believe the whole 2007 wedding season has ended for us... where did the time go? I swear if I really didn't think about my answer, and you asked me what month it was I would say... June ;-)
Time really flies in the wedding business!
So......Saturday morning we headed out one last time in 2007 for the wedding of Melissa and Mark at the Pala Mesa Resort in Fallbrook. This was a really early wedding so we made our first stop of the day Starbucks for the Shadowcatcher energy generating drink of choice, the Peppermint Mocha!

Fully caffinated and ready to roll, we first ran into the florist from the Bonsal Flower Shop who delivered some awesome flowers.

Our assistant Erin has been with us now for a full year and we have discovered she is not only the best assistant ever, but has also turned into a really great photographer. Every photographer seems to have a special niche, something that they can really capture well. With Erin it's kids, she has done some beautiful children's portraits for us this year. We will be working on some ways to offer more of Erin's talents to our clients in 2008 ..... Wooo Hooo Erin!

Mark is an avid golfer which made Pala Mesa the perfect place for their wedding. Mark's identical twin brother Matt lent a hand on the putting green before the ceremony.

Our lovely bride... Melissa!

The ceremony was beautiful, and I can't believe how lucky Pala Mesa was in the recent fires! The huge fire that swept through the area just weeks before came within 30-40 feet of this beautiful ceremony site, but left it untouched.
The vows.....
Mr. & Mrs. Hoye!

Wedding crasher! This was so funny, we had everyone all set up for the family group portraits and I was looking at the waterfall and all of a sudden saw this HUGE raccoon running to the waterfall. He doesn't look too big here, but believe me this was one big raccoon! I think he was looking for wedding cake ;-)

After the family portraits, it was time for some fun with the bridal party!

and then the best time of all... bride & groom alone time!

Pala Mesa resort did a beautiful job keeping Melissa & Mark's wedding running smoothly, the staff was terrific! And our DJ Al of Alvaron Entertainment and Events kept the dance floor full with some great music all afternoon long.

Melisa and Mark's wedding was beautiful, it was so great to spend the day with such a close and loving couple. These two are the perfect match!
