Barbara & Alex's Wedding!

Sunday September 16th.
Written By: Heather
Wow! I have to start with...... this couple sure knows how to host a fun wedding!
Yesterday we got back into work mode with Barbara and Alex's wedding. It was a super long day for us, but the action and energy was non-stop all day long...... and the time flew by!
Skip & I started in the morning at Barbara's parents house with the girls doing their getting ready thing.

Barbara was absolutely stunning in her gown, looking like she just stepped off of the cover of a Bridal magazine!
When we finished with the girls, we headed off to pick up our assistants and get to Saint Gregory's' church to get some shots of Alex and his guys before the ceremony started.
Janelle and I had some extra time to work with the girls again to, while Skip & Erin worked it with the guys.

Handsome bunch eh?
But sorry guys, you just can't compare to the beauty of the bride!
This was our first time at St. Gregory's. What an amazing church! We joined Barbara and Alex for their rehearsal the day before so we could check it all out beforehand. The architecture of this church is so beautiful, and the natural light that flows in was a dream to work with!

Now here is the funny thing about our terrific bridal party yesterday... we last saw them at the church getting into the limo, then we all headed out to Pala. Somehow....... 20 minutes later, our bridal party became REALLY fired up and ready to party! We had a great time with all of them in front of the casino. Wonder what was in the water that limo driver was giving them ;-)

After we finished with the wild bunch, we let them all go off to cocktail hour and got to spend some really nice bride & groom alone time with Barbara and Alex during their champagne photo session.

Then it was time to step up the action a bit it up a bit as we headed in to the casino.

Nothing makes a wedding day more fun than a bridal party, family and friends that are really into the wedding, and having a good time.. and this day had it all! The love from Barbara and Alex's family and friends was just so evident all day long... it was the best!

The reception was in the Cabaret Room at Pala, and for the second time that day, gave us some really great lighting effects to work with. The room was beautiful.

The big moment!
and the catch!

And then the moment Alex was waiting for ;-).......

Getting back to work after a vacation is never easy, but this wedding made going back to work a blast!
Barbara and Alex have such a great connection and such a strong love for each other, you just can't help but get swept away by all of these great feelings!
Thanks so much you two, and all of your terrific families and friends too!
So, when is a job not a job? When your job is to be a part of, and capture memories like these! ...... Wooo Hooo!
