Yesterday afternoon Skip and I were out in Del Mar for the wedding of Stacy and Chris. Our last 2 weddings were very small and only required one photographer (me) so it was really nice to be working as a team again! Our couples always seem so surprised when they find out they will be blogged and see some "Teasers" so soon after the wedding, but my way of thinking is... who wants to wait? Not being very good at waiting myself, we always get our couples blogged no longer than 2 days after the event.
Sunday we started out at L'Auberge with Stacy in her room and did a few getting ready shots, and then went into the lobby and outside to take advantage of the beautiful scenery at L'Auberge. Stacy made a beautiful bride, and as it always seems to happen, relaxed so much just as soon as she was in her dress and ready to go!

All too soon we had to leave Stacy and the girls and head over to Seagrove Park to get some shots of Chris before the ceremony.

Before we knew it........Here comes the bride!

The ceremony was beautiful, harp music filled the costal air.

After the ceremony and the group foramls, we moved closer to the ocean for some special Bride & Groom alone time and our Signature Bride & Groom Champagne shoot. The weather was very overcast, breezy and cold, but I think this gave us some beautiful, very dramatic images.

On our way to the reception, we stopped at L'Auberge again to do some shots in the lobby, and warm up a little ;-)

Stacy & Chris had their reception at the Paciffic Breeze Cafe, which was the perfect spot for a smaller reception.

Congratulations Stacy and Chris! Your wedding was simply beautiful and we are so happy to have been a part of your big day!
