Saturday March 24th~ San Diego
A perfect setting, and a perfect day for Kate and Matt’s wedding!
Saturday we had the best workday ever! Kate and Matt got married on the Berkeley in San Diego Harbor. The Berkeley is one of the boats tied up in the harbor by the Star of India. It came as a real surprise to me that you could get married there, but what a great surprise.. it is a perfect venue!
Erin and I started our day with some “Getting ready” shots up in the room at the Holiday Inn across the street with Kate and the girls.
And this is how you see each other without seeing each other before the ceremony…. Sneaky huh?

Skip had a chance to do something different with the guys. Next to the Berkeley is a Russian sub and they were all able to get on board and do some of the guys shots there.
The ceremony on the west deck of the boat was beautiful, the sun warm and the ocean breeze just perfect.
After the ceremony we all headed over to the Star of India for a few shots of the bride & groom with their bridal party
And then it was time to break out the champagne for some special bride & groom alone time
ok… no more champagne for these two ;-) 
All to soon the laughter and fun on the Star had to end and we were running back to the Berkeley for a big group shot

And then before we knew it, our time was finished.
What an amazing day with an amazing couple, I can’t remember the last time I laughed as hard as we did during our bride & groom session on the Star! These two are the most fun ever and we are so grateful for having the opportunity to be a part of this day!Congratulations again you two!
