Wooo Hoooo.. Heather & Mike say I DO!

Sunday September 24th, 2006
We were REALLY looking forward to Mike & Heather's wedding day. After working with them a couple of times before on their 2 engagement sessions(see blogs below), we knew the day would be packed with laughs from start to finish, and we were so right... we had a blast all day long!
After some quick getting ready shots, we headed outside, and for once we girls were a step ahead of the guys! Heather looked absolutely stunning in her gown that was beautifuly beaded in a very early 1900's style.. very elegant!

Mike and Heather opted to go around superstition and saw eachother before the ceremony. We staged a special "Seeing eachother for the first time" by blindfolding Mike and having his guys lead him out to the bridge where Heather was waiting.

Then we stepped it into gear and Skip and I split up and did some shots of each of the with their attendants and family.
The girls were all about their special matching garters!

We also had the good fortune of working with NR3 video again for the second day in a row..... these guys rock!

The guys in a rare moment of seriousness... note that "Moment".

Because it couldn't last for long!

Before we knew it, it was time to hide Heather back in the hotel before the guests all saw her.. and then she came floating down the aisle on the arm of her Dad. Big teary moment number one of the day for this photographer!

Mike's vows to Heather were beautiful, all of the bridesmaids had me laughing as I teared up as they pulled tissues out of Heather's Bouquet.

There was not a dry eye in the house... Especially the Mom's!

Mike & Heather's first kiss was one to be remembered, ending in a beautiful executed dip reflected in the pond! NICE job guys! We told you all of that practice dipping in the e-session would come in handy someday!

Now this was really bizarre. In the pond were these huge Koi. After awhile these guys started messing with all of us. One of them would zoom around the pond gathering up speed and then launch himself out of the water drenching everyone. Look down on the corner of this image to see the beginning of his launch.

After the formals we all really relaxed and had some fun, there was no limit to what this group wanted to do. And we took full advantage of that ;-)

Then it was time to mellow things out a bit with the Bride & Groom Champagne photo session.. very romantic guys!

The reception was beautiful, the food delicious. and packed with fun from the most entertaining Best Man speech we ever heard to the most tearful (yes you got me again there) Father Daughter dance, to the Father Son dip! Yowza!

Mike & Heather, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for letting us be a part of this day. It has been such a pleasure getting to know you two, we were both so sorry to see this day come to an end. You are a couple we will never forget!
