Niki & Arash say their “I Do’s” at Rancho San Juan Capistrano

July 7th, 2006
Rancho San Juan Capistrano
Although we must have passed this place a hundred times, we never knew it existed!

Nestled in amongst the hills in San Juan Capistrano is the cutest little wedding venue. It is an old mission I believe, with a church and lake that can be used for ceremonies, and a beautiful big patio area for the reception.

The day was beautiful and sunny, a bit warm but nothing compared to our wedding last week where we saw temps of 112!

When we first did Niki & Arash’s engagement session a few months ago, I knew this would be one class act wedding and wow…. was it ever! Nikki and Arash have such style; every detail was done to perfection!

Here is a shot of Niki getting ready…
The girls getting ready room... as usual, was filled with laughter and fun!

Again, I worked with the girls, and Skip worked with all of the guys, and we finished in plenty of time to get some great shots of the reception details before the start of the ceremony.

The ceremony itself was done by Arash’s dad, which was a very nice special touch
.
I love this shot of Niki & Arash lighting the unity candle!

After the ceremony we seemed to fly through the group shots, the moms and dads helped to keep all the family where we needed them and this helped a lot!

We then moved on to one of our favorite parts…. the bride & groom alone session, I just love it when we can get the newlyweds off on their own for a while and away from all of the activity. It’s great to see them really see each other as husband and wife for the first time!

We got some great shots while Niki & Arash
had their first toast together.

The reception was filled with fun. Once the toasts and formal dances were over Niki & Arash hopped on the dance floor, and never left it all night!
Check out “Air Arash”!

Niki’s Boquet toss.. what a throw!

Niki & Arash.. You two Rock! It is so awesome to see two people so in love, and it was an honor to share and capture the memories of this day!
