Jasmine & Wes's Big Wedding day!

Sunday June 18th

La Valencia Hotel and the La Jolla Financial Building terrace
Wow….. what a wedding this was! From start to finish it was a day of warm loving family fun!

We started the day at the La Valencia with the girls. As a gift, the grooms parents got a suite for the newlyweds overlooking La Jolla cove, this room was AMAZING! So beautiful! Inside we were greeted by our bride Jasmine who was a pillar of calm in a sea of flying bobby pins and curling irons. There was excitement in the air and some great music coming through the sound system in the room! And the view of the cove was unbelievable.

Jasmine was a true beauty in her gown and her girls looked stunning all dressed in black.

The guys somehow seemed to missed the memo on our starting time and were all late but with some quick thinking between us and the coordinator Erin from Behind the Bride ….who by the way is FANTASTIC…… we came up with a plan B and managed to get the guys picture in with a bit of time to spare.

The flowers done by Jennifer from My Fair Lady’s Flowers were beautiful.. I don’t think I have ever seen a more impressive arch arrangement.

With a breathtaking view of the cove, and her hubby-to-be… Jasmine and her Dad made their way down the aisle. The ceremony officiated by Patricia Brydon was lovely, there was not a dry eye in the house… especially Jasmine's ;-)

The reception was wonderful, and everyone seemed to be having a great time.. us too.. the time flew by!

After the toasts which I learned about a Turkish tradition, Turkish brides receive gold and diamonds as a wedding gift. I was looking a little puzzled and Jasmine’s mom explained this to me, she said rather than pots & pans the women receive gold and diamonds. So… in my next life I think I will be a Turkish Wedding photographer ;-) Jasmine was presented with some beautiful pieces of jewelry from her family.

At one point during the reception the bride & groom were serenaded by a guest who is an opera singer. His voice was amazing!

The dance floor was packed all night with some great dance moves by all!

At the end of the evening Wes pulled Jasmine around the reception in a little wagon that his mom decorated for the their trip back to the Hotel! Very cute!

We had a wonderful day and made some great new friends! Jasmine and Wes have been together since they were 13! If you were to spend just 5 minutes with them you would immediately feel how perfect these two are together.
Congratulations to you both…… we had the best day ever… it was an honor to spend this day capturing all of these special moments!
