JR & Christy's Wedding Day at Los Willows

Saturday May 27th......
Today was our first time shooting a wedding out at Los Willows, we expected it to be beautiful after seeing it on the internet but were even more surprised and excited when we saw it in person. This venue is just amazing! Very similar to The Grand Tradition, but somehow seemed just a bit more natural.

We arrived very early and had some time to enjoy the calm and beauty of the area before things got hopping. The bride, groom & bridal party were early too so we got off to a great start.

After a few "Getting Ready" shots

Christy was stunning in her gown, with her long lines and natural grace, she looked and moved like royalty!

JR was equally handsome in his tux!

The ceremony was very nice and got off to a funny start when the little ring bearer decided to steal the show.

He started his walk down the aisle and paused at his appointed spot but then seemed to forget he needed to continue. He modeled quite nicely for me for a few minutes, looking down at the car he had that was holding the rings and then I motioned for him to go down to the alter. He took off at a dead run.. it was adorable.

The bride & groom exited in a shower of flower petals and then took off for a champagne cruise around the lake.

After, we did some bride & groom portraits around the lake, which were spectacular. The reflections from the water were so much fun to work with.

The gazebo also provided a beautiful setting for

"The Dip"!

The reception moved really quickly and the DJ had the dance floor full all night.

Between the beautiful scenery and the deep love and affection that JR and Christy have for eachother, this was one of the most remarkable weddings we ever had the pleasure to be a part of.

Best wishes to you both! Yours is a love that is sure to stand the test of time!
