Well we did it! After a year of looking at cars, with a few slight disagreements on what to get, a new car found us. Not even one we had been considering, but she is a perfect fit for us and our needs. And we got an Unbelievable deal on it!
With all the mileage we put on the Durango going on engagement sessions, to rehearsals etc. AND the crazy price of gas in an SUV that is getting 10 miles per gallon we bought our first new/pre-owned car in 8 years yesterday. The thought of car payments again has us a bit squinchy, last night neither one of us slept well thinking about that …. but the car is beautiful and we are sure within no time we will get used to the dreaded car payment nightmare.
Today helped take the edge of that for me too… amazing beautiful day, top down, cruising around doing errands….. sweet! And Wes is the king of the world safely strapped into his harness/seatbelt in the backseat, for such a little putz, he pulls off the regal look very easily. People staring and saying….. Ohhhh look a Dalmatian doesn’t help his ego much either ;-)
