Vince & Richel's Engagement Session

Yesterday we had the pleasure of meeting with our wedding clients Vince & Richel for the first time. Vince & Richel live in Indiana but are getting married here in San Diego, and booked us over the phone without an in person meeting. We have had a few phone conversations over the past months and it was so nice to put faces with their voices!

We scheduled a sunset shoot at the Tide Pools at the Cabrillo National Monument. Unfortunately, the park ranger’s idea of closing at sunset and ours were a bit different. At about 5:15 the rangers were signaling us to leave… and we had barely started!

So we packed up our gear and frantically tried to think of another spot close by that we could catch the great sunset that was starting to get away.


Fortunately we remembered a spot in Ocean Beach and made it there with just a bit of time to spare…… and got it! Phew… that sun sets fast once it starts to go!

Afterwards we all spent some time warming up at the Starbucks in OB and had a chance to get to know each other a bit better.

We had a great time working with Vince & Richel, and showing them some new poses…. they are a fun couple!
